Description:
Painting of man on a ladder next to house with red roof on shore, with small boat on wheels in foreground. This painting is mounted with staples on board on which it was being worked on/painted, as can be discerned by overpainting of color in sky area. Other marks of color test brush strokes are visible on board, and driving directions are written on back of board in pencil. Back of board shows overpaint from other works that have been completed using it as a surface, and also shows spots potentially consistent with foxing, but artwork itself does not appear to be affected.
